How to make a location QR code
- Find the coordinates: in Google Maps, press and hold the spot (or right-click on a computer) and copy the numbers shown.
- Paste the latitude and longitude.
- Style and download the code.
- Scan it to confirm the pin lands in the right place.
Tips for a code that scans first time
- Use the entrance or parking spot rather than the middle of a large building.
- Latitude comes first. In India it is roughly 8 to 37, and longitude roughly 68 to 97.
Location QR code questions
Does a location QR code work on iPhone?
Yes. It opens a Google Maps link, which uses the Google Maps app if it is installed and the browser otherwise.
